Tracking replies and landed links

Where replies show up, how to read a thread, and how a reply becomes a confirmed backlink.

Because you send outreach from your own account, replies come straight back to your inbox, where you handle the conversation like any other email. Serpfeed's job is to track the outcome: whether the link actually goes live.

Replies live in your inbox

Serpfeed doesn't read your email. When a site owner replies, you talk to them directly, agree on the details, and keep the relationship yours. That is the whole point of sending from your own identity.

How a link becomes a win

When you send, the opportunity moves to Contacted. From there, a daily sweep checks your target domains, and the moment one starts linking to you, Serpfeed promotes the opportunity to Live and counts it in your Backlinks Won. You don't have to tell it the link went up; it notices.

Updating status by hand

You can always move an opportunity yourself: mark one as Contacted if you reached out elsewhere, or skip one that went nowhere. The status is there to keep your working list honest, so you always know what still needs attention.

Watch out for lost links

A link going live isn't always the end. If a link you won later disappears, it shows up in your link health view so you can follow up and try to get it back.
