How outreach works

The path an opportunity takes from accepted to sent, and where you stay in control.

Outreach is how an accepted opportunity turns into a real link. Serpfeed does the heavy lifting: it finds the contact and drafts a personalized email. You review it and send it from your own account. Here is the whole flow.

Step by step

  1. Accept the opportunity. This enriches it and, where possible, finds a contact to reach.
  2. Serpfeed drafts the email. A personalized subject and body, written around your site and the target page.
  3. You review and send. Tweak the draft, then send it from your own account with Email owner or Open in Gmail, or copy it and send from anywhere.
  4. Serpfeed tracks it. The opportunity moves to Contacted, and a daily sweep watches the target so it flips to Live once your link goes up.

When there is no email

Some sites take submissions through a form rather than a personal address. When that is the case, Serpfeed gives you an Open contact form button instead, so you still have a clear next action.

Directories are different

Directory opportunities usually don't need an email at all. For those, Serpfeed can submit your site for you as an Autopilot action, so you skip the manual form-filling entirely.

You are always in the loop

Serpfeed drafts and prepares, but nothing goes to a prospect until you send it. Outreach leaves from your own identity, never from a Serpfeed address.
