Autopilot is the name for the work Serpfeed does on your behalf: the prep and the routine steps that would otherwise eat your time. Most of it just runs, so the app works for you out of the box, and you are always the one who approves anything that reaches a real person.
The Autopilot settings in Linkbuilding settings

What runs automatically
These happen for every project, with nothing to turn on. They are free and never contact anyone.
| Runs automatically | What it does |
|---|---|
| Detect live links | Re-checks contacted and submitted links and marks them live on their own, and moves a live link to Dropped if the site later removes it. |
| Follow-up reminders | Surfaces a pre-drafted follow-up when a contact goes quiet. You set the cadence (how many days between reminders, and how many) in Linkbuilding settings. |
The two you control
These have a toggle in your Linkbuilding settings, because one spends credits and the other stages a change you should review.
| Setting | What it does | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Auto-find contact on accept | When you accept an opportunity, analyses the site and finds the contact form or email so your outreach is ready. On by default; turn it off to find contacts manually per opportunity. | 3 credits each |
| Auto-handle at-risk links | Flags toxic or broken live backlinks and prepares a ready-to-submit disavow for you to review. | Free |
Directory submissions stay a click away
Serpfeed does not submit directory forms on its own. When the "Submit for me" beta is enabled, a Submit for me button appears on clean directory opportunities: click it and a browser fills and submits the form for you (20 credits, charged only when it succeeds). The click is always yours.
Staying in the loop
Whatever Autopilot does, it tells you: the notifications bell keeps a record of every action it took, from a disavow it prepared to a directory it submitted. Nothing is hidden, and you can review it all any time.
Autopilot never emails prospects for you
