Toxic link detection

The signals Serpfeed uses to flag risky, spammy, or toxic backlinks pointing at your site.

Not every backlink helps you. Links from spammy, low-quality, or manipulative sites can drag on your reputation with search engines. Serpfeed scores the risk of every domain so you can spot the bad ones, both when you are choosing who to reach out to and when you are watching links you already have.

The spam score

Every domain gets a spam score from 0 to 100: the higher the number, the riskier the domain looks. A score of 60 or above is flagged as toxic and is best avoided. You will see this in the Spam column, so you can sort and filter to bring the riskiest domains to the top.

What counts as at-risk

For links you have already won, backlink health looks beyond spam alone. A live link is flagged when its source turns toxic, when it becomes a nofollow link that no longer passes authority, or when the link breaks. Any of these moves it into your at-risk view.

What to do about a toxic link

A toxic domain you were about to contact is an easy call: skip it. A toxic domain that is already linking to you is different, because you can't simply remove someone else's link. That is what disavowing is for, and Serpfeed helps you prepare it.

Toxic is a signal, not a verdict

A high spam score is a strong hint, not a certainty. Use it to prioritize where to look, then trust your own read of the site before you skip an opportunity or disavow a link.
