How does Serpfeed know when I lose a link?
A daily check keeps every live backlink current. When one disappears, it's flagged as lost and you can be alerted, so you find out in time to try to recover it.
What makes a live link at-risk?
Three things: the linking domain turning toxic (a high spam score), the link becoming nofollow so it no longer passes authority, or the link or its page breaking. Any of these moves the link into your at-risk view.
Toxic links
What is the spam score?
A 0 to 100 rating of how risky a domain looks. Higher is worse, and 60 or above is flagged as toxic and best avoided, both for outreach targets and for links you already have.
A toxic site links to me. Should I panic?
No. A few low-quality links are normal and Google usually ignores them. Disavowing is a last resort for clearly harmful domains you can't get removed, not routine cleanup.
Disavow
Does Serpfeed disavow links for me automatically?
Not entirely. Google doesn't let tools submit disavows on your behalf, so Serpfeed prepares a ready-to-paste disavow line (automatically, if you enable the Autopilot option for at-risk links) and walks you through uploading it in Google's Disavow Links tool. The final submit is yours.
What do I do once a disavow is prepared?
You get a notification that it's ready. Copy the prepared line into a plain text file, open Google's Disavow Links tool, select your property, and upload the file.
