How long does the commission last?

As long as they keep paying us, you keep earning. It is every invoice, not just their first one, with no cut-off after twelve months. If they upgrade, your commission goes up with them.

When and how do I get paid?

Monthly, by PayPal or bank transfer, with no minimum payout. Commission is held for 60 days first, so that refunds and chargebacks are settled before money moves. Your dashboard shows what is held, what is ready, and what has been paid.

What is the cookie window?

90 days, first-touch. If someone clicks your link and signs up within 90 days, the referral is yours. If they clicked someone else's link before yours, that person gets the credit.

Can I run ads to promote Serpfeed?

No. Paid advertising of any kind is not allowed: paid search, paid social, display networks, sponsored placements, retargeting, paid influencer placements, or bidding on our brand name. We want genuine recommendations to an audience you already have, not bought traffic. Coupon and deal sites, unsolicited email, and referring yourself are not allowed either.

Do I need to be a Serpfeed customer?

No. You can join the affiliate program without a subscription, and you will get an affiliate dashboard instead of the product, with no project setup to go through. If you later want to use Serpfeed yourself you can start a project at any time and keep your affiliate status.

Question 6

What do you need from me to apply?

Your legal name and address, a tax registration number if one applies to you, where you plan to promote us, and your acceptance of the affiliate terms. We ask for the address because paying you is a real outward payment that has to be recorded properly.

Can I refer my own clients?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you put a client on Serpfeed and the client owns the account and pays their own subscription, that is an ordinary referral and it earns commission for as long as they keep paying. The only thing that does not qualify is referring yourself: your own subscription, or an account you pay for, is not commissionable.

What is not commissionable?

Tax, one-off credit pack purchases, invoices that were never paid, and anything refunded or charged back. Commission is calculated on the invoice amount excluding tax, so you are never paid a share of VAT.

How long does approval take?

We review every application by hand, usually within a couple of days. Your link works in the meantime and any referrals it brings in are tracked, so nothing is lost while you wait. Once you are approved, referrals you already made start earning cash on their next payment.

What is the difference between the referral program and the affiliate program?

Every Serpfeed account has one referral link, and by default it earns credits: when someone you refer subscribes, you both get 500 credits. The affiliate program is an upgrade of that same link for people who can reach an audience. Approved affiliates get paid in cash instead, 30 percent of every invoice their referrals pay, for as long as those customers stay. The person you refer still gets their 500 credits either way, and you never have to swap links.
