Affiliate Program Terms

Last updated: July 29, 2026

These Affiliate Program Terms (“Affiliate Terms”) govern your participation in the Serpfeed affiliate program. They are in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which continue to apply. By submitting an affiliate application you confirm that you have read and accept these Affiliate Terms.

1. Applying and approval

Anyone with a Serpfeed account may apply. Applications are reviewed individually and we may accept or decline any application at our discretion, without giving reasons. You are not a partner, and no commission accrues, until we have approved your application.

You must give accurate and complete details in your application, including your legal name, address, and any tax registration number that applies to you. We use these solely to review your application, to pay you, and to meet our own accounting and tax obligations. Keep them up to date; we may withhold a payout while details are missing or incorrect.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement.

2. Your referral link

On approval you keep the same referral link your account already has. Attribution works on a first-touch basis: if someone follows your link, a cookie is stored in their browser for 90 days, and if they create an account in that window the referral is credited to you. If they followed someone else’s link first, that partner is credited instead.

You may not obscure, cloak, or misrepresent the destination of your link, and you may not rewrite or intercept anyone else’s referral link.

3. How you may promote Serpfeed

We want genuine recommendations to an audience that would actually benefit from Serpfeed. Content, newsletters, videos, courses, communities, client work, and word of mouth are all welcome.

You may not use paid advertising of any kind to promote Serpfeed or your referral link. This includes, without limitation, paid search, paid social, display and native advertising networks, sponsored placements, retargeting, paid influencer placements, and any other promotion you pay a third party to distribute. This restriction exists because paid acquisition competes with our own marketing and buys customers who would have found us anyway.

In particular, and as part of the same restriction, you may not bid on or purchase advertising against “Serpfeed” or any variation, misspelling, or combination of it, and you may not use our name in a paid advertisement, display URL, or landing page you paid to place.

You also may not:

  • send unsolicited email, direct messages, or any other communication that would breach applicable anti-spam law;
  • post your link as spam, including in comment sections, forums, review sites, or issue trackers where it is off-topic or unwelcome;
  • operate coupon, deal, discount, or voucher sites promoting Serpfeed, or publish discount codes we have not issued to you;
  • register domain names, social accounts, or app listings containing “Serpfeed” or a confusingly similar name;
  • state or imply that you are Serpfeed, that you speak for us, or that you are an employee, agent, or reseller;
  • make claims about the Service that are false, misleading, or that we have not published ourselves, including guarantees about rankings, traffic, or revenue;
  • promote Serpfeed alongside content that is illegal, hateful, adult, or otherwise damaging to our reputation;
  • use automated traffic, bots, incentivised clicks, or any other artificial means to generate clicks or signups.

You must disclose your affiliate relationship wherever the law or platform rules require it, including the FTC endorsement guidelines in the United States and equivalent rules elsewhere.

4. Self-referral and client accounts

You may not use your own link to create an account for yourself, and you may not earn commission on your own subscription or on an account you pay for. Referrals between accounts under common ownership with you do not qualify.

Referring a client is not self-referral. If you set a client up on Serpfeed and the client owns the account and pays their own subscription, that is an ordinary referral and it earns commission in the usual way, for as long as they keep paying.

5. Commission

Approved partners earn a percentage of the amounts actually paid on subscription invoices by customers they referred, for as long as those customers keep paying. Your rate is shown on your affiliate dashboard and is fixed at the rate that applied when you were approved, unless we agree otherwise with you in writing.

Commission is calculated on the invoice amount excluding tax. It is not payable on:

  • tax, including VAT or sales tax;
  • one-off credit pack purchases;
  • invoices that were never paid, or that were paid and later refunded;
  • amounts that are the subject of a chargeback or payment dispute.

Commission is held for a period after it is earned, so that refunds and disputes can be resolved before money moves. The current holding period is shown on your dashboard. If a payment is refunded or disputed during that period, the related commission is cancelled. If it is refunded or disputed after we have already paid you, we may offset the amount against future payouts or ask you to repay it.

6. Payouts

We pay out monthly, in arrears, to the payout account you gave us. There is no minimum payout. You are responsible for any fees your own bank or payment provider charges to receive the payment.

You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer of Serpfeed. You are solely responsible for your own taxes, and for any registration, reporting, or invoicing obligations that apply to you. We may withhold amounts where the law requires it.

7. Suspension and termination

Either of us may end your participation at any time, for any reason, with notice. We may suspend your account and withhold unpaid commission while we investigate a suspected breach of these Affiliate Terms.

If you breach section 3 or section 4, we may cancel any commission connected with that breach, including commission already approved but not yet paid, and remove you from the program.

On termination you must stop using your referral link and remove Serpfeed branding from your materials. Commission properly earned before termination, and not otherwise cancelled under these terms, remains payable.

8. Trademarks

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the Serpfeed name and logo solely to promote the Service while you are an approved partner, in the form we publish. You may not alter them, and you gain no other rights in them.

9. Changes

We may change these Affiliate Terms. When we do, we will publish the updated version on this page with a new date and email every approved and pending partner at the address on their Serpfeed account, so you always hear about a change directly rather than having to watch this page.

The updated version takes effect on the date shown at the top of this page. If you stay in the program after that date, you accept it. If you would rather not, you can leave at any time under section 7, and commission you have already earned is unaffected.

10. Liability

The affiliate program is provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits or anticipated commission. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Contact
