Your competitors are your best link research. Every site that links to a rival is a site that might link to you, and every new backlink they earn is a lead you can chase. The Competitors section is where you keep a list of those rivals and watch what they do, so Serpfeed can turn their link profile into opportunities for you.
The roster
Open Competitors from the left sidebar to see everyone you track. Each row shows the same SEO metrics as your opportunities list, Domain Rating (DR), worldwide traffic, spam score, referring domains, total backlinks, and a 30-day trend, plus an Activity count of how many page and backlink changes that competitor has had in the last month. Click any row to open its detail page.
The header shows how many competitors you track against your plan limit (for example 5 / 10 tracked). You can save a filtered view from the filter bar and reload it later from the sidebar, the same saved views you use on the opportunities list.
Adding competitors
You pick your first competitors during onboarding, and you can change them anytime here. Add competitor lets you type a domain you already have in mind. Discover asks Serpfeed to suggest more rivals in your space. The more accurate your list, the more relevant the opportunities Serpfeed finds from it.
Each plan tracks a set number of competitors: 5 on Free and Starter, 10 on Growth, and 20 on Scale. When you hit your limit, Add and Discover prompt you to upgrade instead of adding more.
The detail page
A competitor's detail page opens with an overview on the left, rating, traffic, referring domains, backlinks, dofollow share, and a traffic-by-country breakdown, so you can size the site up at a glance. The right side holds its contact details and social profiles. The middle has three tabs.
Activity: what just changed
The Activity tab is a running feed of everything that moved on the site: pages added, updated, or removed, and backlinks gained or lost, newest first. It is the fastest way to see what a competitor is doing right now, a new landing page, a fresh batch of links, or a page that disappeared. Use the filter to narrow to just one kind of change, and the search box to find a specific domain or page.
Backlinks: who links to them
The Backlinks tab lists the domains that link to this competitor, with each domain's authority and how many links it points over. A Links to you badge marks the domains that already link to your site too, so you can tell overlap from fresh targets at a glance. The count at the top tells you how many referring domains are live and how many already link to you.
Show linking pages goes one level deeper: instead of just the domain, it reveals the exact page that contains each link, its anchor text, and the page on the competitor it points to. That is the detail you need to plan a similar link. It costs 2 credits the first time and is then cached for two weeks, so viewing it again is free. On paid plans Serpfeed fills this in for your tracked competitors automatically.
Pages: their sitemap
The Pages tab lists the competitor's real pages from its sitemap, with a Discovered date (when Serpfeed first saw the page) and an Updated date (when the site last changed it). Sort or search to find resource pages, guides, and listicles worth pitching. The header shows when the sitemap was last scanned, and Re-scan forces a fresh scan if you want the latest.
How the data stays fresh
On paid plans, Serpfeed refreshes your tracked competitors in the background, so their pages, backlinks, and activity stay current without you doing anything. On Free, the data refreshes when you open a competitor, so the first view of a cold domain can take a moment while Serpfeed fetches it.
This is where opportunities come from
