Sign-in methods & password

How you sign in to Serpfeed (email one-time codes), and how to set a password later.

Serpfeed keeps sign-in simple: by default there is no password to remember. You enter your email, we send you a six-digit code, and you are in. Prefer to skip the code entirely? Continue with Google. And if you would rather use a password, you can add one later.

Continue with Google

On the login page, choose Continue with Google and pick your Google account. There is no separate sign-up step: if it is your first time, we create your account and take you straight into setup. You can use the same Google button every time you come back.

Signing in with a code

Enter your email on the login page. We send a six-digit code to your inbox; type it in and you are signed in. The same flow works whether or not you already have an account, so there is no separate sign-up step to worry about.

Adding a password

If you would rather sign in with a password, you can set one from your account settings. Once you have a password, the login page will ask for it, and you can still fall back to a one-time code whenever you want.

Forgot your password?

If you set a password and forget it, use the Forgot password link on the login page to reset it by email. And because email codes always work, you are never locked out: you can sign in with a code and reset your password from settings afterward.

Keep your email current

Since sign-in and password resets both run through your email, make sure the address on your account is one you can always reach.
